TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENT AND CHARGES 1. Full payment is required at time of booking. Payment will indicate acceptance of the booking conditions as laid out below. 2. Where applicable all prices are inclusive of GST 3. Transaction charges of 1.7% are applicable to all payments by credit card. 4. Minimum lengths of stay are applicable – 2 Nights. For Public Holidays weekends 3 Night minimum, and Christmas and New Year 7 Nights.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS 1. The guest making the reservation shall be deemed to accept all booking conditions on behalf of all guests staying. 2. The guest making the reservation on behalf of another person is responsible for the property and making all guests and visitors aware of and abide by the terms and conditions of the booking. 3. The number of persons staying at the property does not exceed the maximum allowable. The numbers on the booking form must not increase at any time during the occupancy unless written approval has been agreed. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled forthwith and guests being asked to vacate the property.

MINORS 1. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when staying. 2. The property has the right of refusal, when a legal guardian over the age of 18 cannot provide current photo ID or proof of guardianship when requested. 3. The property may not be suitable for infants and babies for safety reasons, due to the layout of the property with stairs, open balconies and unfenced gardens. Any reservations made with young infants and babies are responsible for their well-being and safety. The property owners take no liability for accidents that may arise relating to this.

NON-SMOKING 1. The properties are non-smoking. 2. Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas, away from the property. All butts must be disposed of in the correct manner. Please respect the natural habitat of the many animals that live alongside us. 3. $250 cleaning charge applies to breach of the Non-Smoking Policy.

AMENDMENTS TERMS 1. All amendments to dates are subject to availability and rates at the time of amending the reservation.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND TERMS 1. Cancellations may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. 1. Cancellations made up to 14 days before check-in will receive full refund (less cancellation fee). 2. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the total price of the reservation. 3. No date changes within 14 days of reservation.4. To avoid cancellation fees, 1 date change is allowable, subject to availability. 5. Cancellations made within 24hours of booking, a full refund made unless within 48hours of arrival. 6. No shows and cancellations after check in date will be subject to 100% cancellation fee.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: We reserve the right to cancel or postpone bookings at short notice due to adverse weather conditions, Full refund or credit will be offered. Moogie House, Glamp and Pod accepts no other liability for other costs in the event of a cancellation.

COVID 19 POLICY 1. Normal cancellation policy applies to cancellation of bookings for Covid reason. Where possible assistance will be given to re book another date. 2. If lockdown restrictions come into effect, a reschedule of booking for a later date after lockdown restrictions have been lifted. CHECK IN – OUT 1. Standard check in time is 1400hrs. 2. Standard check out time is 1000hrs. 3. Any changes to these must be requested in writing and will at the discretion of the management. 4. A late check out fee may apply.

DAMAGE POLICY 1. All fixtures, fittings, furniture and appliances are assumed to be in good working order at the commencement of your stay, and in the event that any item is not in good working order at the commencement of your stay, you must notify us immediately, so that the condition of the item can be recorded at that time. 2. If we have not received notification from you, any damage will be deemed to have been caused by you. 3. Any breakages, damage/loss or injury which occur during your occupation must be reported to us prior to your departure, and either replaced to the satisfaction of the Property Owner or paid for prior to departure at an amount determined by the Property Owner at their absolute discretion. You will be held responsible for any damage to the property by you or your guests.

NOISE 1. To ensure all guests enjoy their stay, all noise is to be kept to a respectable level at all times, with quiet time from 11pm. Noise carries across the lake. 2. Loud music, inconsiderate and anti-social behaviour will NOT be tolerated at any time. 3. Failure to comply may result in guests being asked to leave the property forthwith.

CLEANING 1. Please be respectful of the property and leave the accommodation as you find. 

SPA/HOT TUB 1. max no of users allowed is 6 persons. 2. Follow guidelines and instructions supplied. 

PETS Dogs are welcome on our property at Moogie House ONLY with the following conditions: 1. At time of booking the number of dogs and breed must be advised. (max of 2 dogs only). 2. Due to the property being unfenced dogs must be supervised at all times when off leash. Please be respectful to the native wildlife. 3. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds as a courtesy to other guests. 4. Pets are not to be left inside Moogie House unattended. Pets can be left on both front and back balconies as gated/barrier available. 5. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after dogs and are responsible for disposing of all waste in the outside bin. 6. Guests may be liable for a pet cleaning fee of $150 if additional cleaning is required. 7. Any damage caused by pets, including but not limited to furniture, will be subject to an additional fee to cover the cost of repairs.

RESPONSIBILITY By utilising the booking services provided by Moogie House , you agree that Moogie House and its employees shall not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, property damage or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other travel services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, acts of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Govt regulations or change in itinerary or schedule. Moogie House and its employees do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their employees or agents for injury, damage or loss to persons or goods whatsoever.
