Loved the quiet private location, loved the place overall, had all we needed. Loved Tara and Ian's immediate responsiveness and super caring attitude. For various reasons we ended up being just two people, and could sprewd out. Next time I will choose the pod, a better financial option. It was close to Kalgar, close to the lavender farm wedding venue, close to Boonah. And the cafe at the Lake was perfect for breakfast.

Recently had the pleasure to stay in this lovely home with views of Lake Moogerah. Our group thoroughly enjoyed huddling around the fire pit roasting marshmallows, sipping wines and watching the sun set framed by the picturesque mountains in the background. Finally the host Tara was incredibly helpful and offered plenty of insight into local activities that suited our groups needs. Definitely worth a stay at the “Moogie” house if you’re heading to this region.

We were lucky enough to stay at Tara’s lovely house at Lake Moogerah. The scenery was picturesque and exactly how it was described and in the photos. Our group enjoyed all the walking tracks available to us in the area. The fire pit made for some wholesome memories toasting marshmallows under the stars. Well worth a visit if you’re out this way

Myself & my friend had the best girls weekend at the Glamping part of Moogie House. Super private, wood fired hot tub, BBQ/ stove.. We added extras including the local food hamper which was delicious.
From the robes & the bath salts, to the local port left for us (so good) … & the fresh bread - by far the best I have tried in QLD. 😏🙃
As well as the outdoor fire pit, there is an indoor fire place to keep you warm through the night.
We came for one of the Scenic Rim Cooking workshops with Caz (less than a 10 min drive) .
Both myself & my friend loved it & would recommend to anyone who likes their creature comforts but also to be outdoors. Perfect romantic getaway too ❤️ and if you need help with the fire, Ian can set you up beforehand… The hot tub will take a few hours to heat up, so you may want it going before you arrive depending on how much time you have.
Thanks so much for everything Tara & Ian, we had a great weekend.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a weekend at this cute and very chill glamping spot (Moogie Glamp). We love camping and being outdoors, but felt lazy. We could have walked to the end of the road and climbed Mt Edwards or driven to one of the many walks in the area, but we just wandered to the coffee shop at the end of the road and had coffee and cake in the sunny garden. We read books in the hammock and by the fire pit and had simple, but delicious meals (especially with the addition of breakfast supplies that you can purchase) which were easy to prepare in the super well appointed 'tent'. We could have closed up the tent and slept very warmly with the wood burner, but we put extra blankets on and opted for keeping the canvas open at night so we could enjoy the full bush experience. We arrived exhausted and left restored. Thanks Tara and Ian for being great hosts. If the bush does you good, this is my top pick for a weekend away.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Moogie Glamp. Tara and Ian were fantastic hosts, ensuring that we had everything we needed, but also very respectful of our privacy. The tent was very well appointed, with all of the comforts of home. The little touches, such as the welcome cards, complimentary marshmallows, chocolate biscuits and small bottle of port were very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Moogie Glamp and will definitely return, as Lake Moogerah is a beautiful location.
